1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using InCalculate ("the app", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.
These Terms apply to all users of InCalculate, including registered account holders and guest visitors.
2. Description of Service
InCalculate is a financial tools and calculators platform that provides users with tools for investment planning, financial projections, budgeting, and related calculations. The app is intended for informational and educational purposes only.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You may create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use InCalculate. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or misuse the platform.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use InCalculate only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the app to engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the app or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the app without permission
- Upload or transmit malicious code or content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
5. Financial Disclaimer
InCalculate provides financial calculators and tools for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice.
- All calculations are estimates based on the inputs you provide
- Results may not reflect actual future financial outcomes
- Market conditions, tax laws, and personal circumstances vary and change over time
- Always consult a qualified financial advisor, tax professional, or legal advisor before making financial decisions
InCalculate, its developers, and contributors are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the results shown in the app.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of InCalculate — including but not limited to the app design, code, text, graphics, and logos — are the exclusive property of InCalculate and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
7. User-Generated Content
Any data or content you input into InCalculate (such as financial figures and personal goals) remains your property. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process and store this data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
8. Third-Party Services
InCalculate integrates with third-party services including:
- Google OAuth for authentication
- Supabase for data storage and backend services
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
9. Availability and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time
- Update these Terms at any time with reasonable notice
- Add, change, or remove features without prior notice
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9.1 Paid plans (if introduced)
Some features may be offered under paid plans in the future. If paid plans are introduced, additional billing terms (including pricing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds) will apply and will be presented at purchase time and/or added to these Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InCalculate and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Financial losses resulting from reliance on app calculations
- Service interruptions or technical errors
InCalculate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
10.1 Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InCalculate disclaims all warranties and representations, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InCalculate and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
12.1 Dispute resolution (informal first)
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If a dispute is not resolved within a reasonable time, either party may pursue available remedies under applicable law in accordance with Section 12.
12.2 Termination and effect of termination
You may stop using the app at any time. You may delete your account from Profile → Data & privacy.
If your account is terminated or you delete your account:
- Your access to account-only features will end
- We will handle deletion/retention of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy
12.3 Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services, internet/network failures, natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, or security incidents.
12.4 Severability, waiver, and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be deemed a waiver. These Terms, together with any policies referenced (including the Privacy Policy), form the entire agreement between you and InCalculate regarding the app.
